Six month update...

Well we are in a new year and so once again it is time to update the family blog. Since July, Matthew has gone on his mission to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Wow he is doing great. I think most of the folks who read this blog are also on the list to receive his weekly emails so I will not go into detail other than to say he loves letters and as you can imagine needs all of your prayers. As I may have mentioned before, thanks to all of you who have helped love and support that kid so that he can be doing the Lord's work!

Jessie is my precious, beautiful, talented, nutty girl who quite frankly is the light of my life. She is my travel buddy, my fiesty goalie girl and my very best sous chef! We had a slight break in soccer over the holiday season but she is right back in the groove with 3 day a week practices (starting now) and tournaments starting the end of February (that doesn't count indoor - we just don't have that schedule yet.)

We have too other children the mutt kids Nero (truly a nerotic personality) and sammy the crazy. They are very fun and we love them but as any of you who have pet kids know they can also be a pain in the behind! We have wonderful friends, Tom and Trish Moore who are the best dog sitters and take such good care of them when we are away!

We had a wonderful Holiday Season and ate way too much and were blessed with wonderful family time both Kunz gatherings and a sunny trip to Scottsdale to visit with the entire Pfeiffer clan! Oh the joy my heart feels watching my daughter laugh and play and joke with her cousins be it a roaring round of White Elephant gift exchange or playing a competitive round of cards! She even held her own with her college boy cousins on the soccer field playing 3 on 3.
